About Lauren Dieterich

I began my love affair with running at the age of 10... started running marathons at 24, and have since fallen in love with the ultra distance. Still building my resume, and feel like an ultra rookie with only 2 50ks, 1 40miler and 1 50miler under my belt. However, I love long distance, love the ultra community, and look forward to having this be a part of my life for decades to come. Originally from Atlanta, I now call a tiny mountain town along the Appalachian Trail in North Carolina home.

In 2012, I plan to crew my future sister-in-law in her 1st Badwater. I am excited, humbled, and anxious about the experience!
