About Dave Cockman

My name is Dave. I am a runner who is passionate about running! I have been a runner ever since I was 5 years old, but only recently did I discover how much ability I have inside me for long distance running. I was always scared to run a Marathon for fear of failing. I finally looked that fear in the face last year and finished my first marathon, plus a number of others. I finished my first 50 miler and another. Now I have finished my first 100 miler and (if God is willing and let's me win the Western States Lottery) plan on Slamming next year. I have a 3 year goal, to get into, and complete Badwater. It am very focused in that effort. I would really like to join a crew for next years (2012) Badwater. For the team that excepts me, I assure you that I will be one of THE toughest and commited members of that team, with my ONLY goal of getting that runner across the finish line in the manner and time in which they deserve!
