Parameters
I searched, however, was unable to find a definition of the "parameters" for a BW to MW run to qualify for inclusion in the Master List. I understand about the suggested documentation and witnesses, however, I believe there are specifics about dates, start times and perhaps more. Could you link me to find these parameters or perhaps just list them?
Additionally, I see on the Badwater Ben Jones website that the Master List for 2012 appears to be something that is going to be kept on an AdventureCorp site. Since Adventure Corp is the Big Race, has anything been discussed about "solos" being accepted for this list?

The dates for a "listed" Crossing are July 1 to August 31. The entire crossing must take place during the months of July and August. Generally, the starting time is from 6 AM to 10 AM. Other times have historically been listed with an explanation of the time (evening start, for example). Any other deviation from the norm (for example, by an alternate route) have been listed as such. Generally, the rules are pretty much the same as what they have been for the "Big Race," except that there is no time limit. Runners must provide enough documentation to convince us that they did the crossing. Usually, this hasn't been a problem, but a bare minimum should be splits to locations used in the Big Race, photos, and voucher from crew and/or outside witnesses. If you summit, you should sign the register. I should mention that it also helps if you announce your intentions for a Solo Crossing ahead of time. That gives opportunity for witnesses to go and verify that you are actually out there.
I have generally not played much of a role in the keeping of the Master List, other than to give Ben data on crossings that I know about. Looks like this year's (2011) data is on his website. Beyond that, I haven't been part of the discussion.

Thank you, Marcia. My roots in the sport go back quite a while to friends like Bill Dickey and John Rosmos who did crossings in much earlier days. I kind of remembered the "rules" from discussions with them, however, I appreciate your confirmation. I don't know when I will fit this run in, however, I hope I can someday.
