It's nothing personal. It's the EXTREME number of spammers and such. We've let the membership of this forum grow out of control, and I'm beginning to want to rein things in just a teensy bit.

So here's the thing. I'm going to begin deleting accounts for people (bots?) who have been members for more than two years, but who have never posted. In no way do I want to encourage lurkers. I realize this site is visited primarily by lurkers. But, see, you can view the site without having an account.

If you are a member, or THOUGHT you were a member, or INTENDED to be a member, but suddeenly found that you AREN'T a member, please don't get your feelings hurt. Just join again, or send me a private message at marcia@badwaterforum.org and we'll add you manually.

And...if you don't want your account to be deleted, just post a "hello" message to let me know you're a living, breathing human (or human-like creature).
